Much of the credit for ‘Natural One’s chart appearance was attributed to its appearance on the soundtrack to the controversial film ‘Kids’ in 1995 but given that the song never featured in the film maybe this is to do the song a disservice. Barlow tends to specialise in lo-fi guitar nuggets but by putting the bass and percussion to the fore and adding an electronic element ‘Natural One’ achieved an awkward but fascinating danceability. The song also benefits from the regular volleys of skewed chords that intensify an already creepy atmosphere. i KD /i br / br / span class="mp3" a href="http://www.mp3hugger.net/Folk Implosion - Natural One.mp3" target="_blank" onmouseover="window.status=' ';return true;" onmouseout="window.status=' ';return true;" Folk Implosion - Natural One /a /span br / br / STRONG Rate This Tune! /STRONG div class="js-kit-rating" path="Folk Implosion - Natural One" title="Folk Implosion - Natural One" starColor="Golden" /div br / br / i a href="http://indieviduel.blogspot.com/2007/09/folk-implosion-natural-one.html" target="_blank" Watch The Video /a /i br / br / STRONG More Info: /STRONG a href="http://www.myspace.com/folkimplosion" target="_blank" Official /a a href="http://www.myspace.com/folkimplosion" target="_blank" Myspace /a br / STRONG Buy Album: /STRONG [UK] a href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0000000SP?ie=UTF8 tag=indiecaterrec-21 linkCode=as2 camp=1634 creative=6738 creativeASIN=B0000000SP" target="_blank" Dare to Be Surprised /a img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.co.uk/e/ir?t=indiecaterrec-21 l=as2 o=2 a=B0000000SP" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" / [US] a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000000SP?ie=UTF8 tag=mp3hugger-20 linkCode=as2 camp=1789 creative=9325 creativeASIN=B0000000SP" target="_blank" Dare to Be Surprised /a img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=mp3hugger-20 l=as2 o=1 a=B0000000SP" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" / br / STRONG Year: /STRONG 1995 ...read full story
